Tarachand –an Organic farmer of Madhya Pradesh, believes in Organic Farming bringing employment, improvising health and reducing poverty. After 2009, in the next three years, many villages established the mode of organic farming in India. Currently, he cultivates vegetables on his six acres of land. Inspired by the idea of farming without the use of chemicals, he learned how to Soil and used it on his own small land. Later, he started to grow unconventional crops like mustard, wheat, green peas, pulses on large land after taking 13 acres on lease.
Today, Tarachand helps other farmers to adapt to Organic Farming in 19 states as well as in regions of Nepal with new techniques. He identified 70 items and organic material, mixed with cow dung and other agricultural residues helping in bettering Organic production.
